The Work
Serious electrical work across Niagara and Hamilton.
Kraun runs two divisions — service and construction. Both do substantial, skilled work. Both need experienced electricians and strong apprentices. The difference is in the day-to-day.
Service Division
Based out of our St. Catharines and Hamilton offices, our service team handles maintenance, repairs, installations, and emergency response for commercial and industrial clients across the region.
What the work looks like:
- Preventative maintenance programs at industrial and commercial facilities
- Electrical repairs and troubleshooting in commercial buildings
- Equipment installations and service upgrades
- On-call emergency response rotation for after-hours electrical issues
- EV charger installations
Construction Division
Our construction crews work on new builds, major renovations, and design-build projects across the Golden Horseshoe, from Niagara and Hamilton to Kitchener/Waterloo and Mississauga.
What the work looks like:
- ICI new construction — long-term care, industrial, hospitality, commercial
- Design-build and design-assist projects
- Major facility renovations and additions
- Pre-fabrication and BIM-coordinated installation
- Project work across the Golden Horseshoe, within roughly an hour of our St. Catharines, Hamilton, or Kitchener/Waterloo bases

Safety is a staffed function at Kraun — not a compliance checkbox.
Kraun has a dedicated Health & Safety Specialist on staff who writes and maintains our safety program, develops our training materials, and oversees onboarding for every new hire. We go above OHSA minimums on PPE, complete daily JHAs on every construction site, and take our responsibility to our people seriously.
