EV charging infrastructure for every property type.

Level 2 and Level 3 commercial EV charging.

Level 2 — AC Charging

The standard for commercial and multi-tenant installations. Level 2 chargers operate at 240V and typically deliver 20 to 80km of range per hour — enough for overnight fleet charging, employee parking, and residential condo use.

Best for:

  • Commercial parking lots
  • Condo garages
  • Employee & visitor charging
  • Overnight-parked fleet vehicles

Kraun installs both hardwired and plug-in Level 2 units. We can supply the chargers or install equipment you’ve sourced yourself.

Level 3 — DC Fast Charging

Level 3 delivers significantly faster charging times, adding roughly 100–300km of range in 20–60 minutes, depending on the vehicle. These are high-voltage installations that require careful load-management planning.

Best for:

  • Fleet operations with short turnaround windows
  • Highway-adjacent commercial locations
  • High-traffic public charging sites.

Kraun manages utility applications, load management planning, and full electrical installations for Level 3 projects.

Full scope. One contractor.

Everything from load analysis to energized chargers.

We assess your existing electrical infrastructure and determine how many chargers your panel can support and whether any upgrades are needed.

Kraun can supply and install the chargers, or install chargers you’ve already sourced. Either way, we handle the electrical scope under a single contract.

We design the installation to balance charging demand across your property — so adding chargers doesn’t trip breakers or overload your service.

Kraun manages the utility application process on your behalf where required.

All work is performed by licensed electricians. We pull the permits, complete the installation, and arrange ESA inspection.

Government rebates may be available.

Federal and provincial incentive programs for commercial EV charging infrastructure exist and change regularly. Kraun doesn’t administer rebates, but we’re happy to flag what’s currently available so you can factor it into your planning.

Kraun manages all of this under a single contract.

Yes. Where a utility application is required, Kraun manages that process on your behalf as part of the overall project scope.

Yes — federal and provincial incentive programs for commercial EV charging infrastructure exist and change regularly. The Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP), administered by Natural Resources Canada, has previously offered funding for commercial charging installations. Kraun doesn’t administer rebates, but we recommend checking nrcan.gc.ca for current program availability before finalizing your project budget.

Level 2 chargers operate at 240V AC and typically add 20–80km of range per hour — suitable for commercial parking, employee charging, condo garages, and overnight fleet charging. Level 3 chargers use DC fast charging and can add 100–300km of range in 20–60 minutes, making them suitable for fleet operations with short turnaround times and high-traffic commercial locations.
