Intravision Greens

Intravision Greens in Welland is an innovative vertical farming operation part of a larger initiative with Elevate Farms. This operation is noteworthy for its “first full-scale” GravityFlow™ automated multi-layer vertical farm system, designed to produce a substantial amount of leafy greens annually. The system encompasses everything from seeding to packaging and includes extensive automation to optimize the growth and handling of the produce.

The facility itself is specially designed from the ground up, featuring both upstream and downstream processes to ensure production efficiency. Kraun Electric installed the electrical required to get the operation up and running.

Installation included:

• Installation of 2,340 lighting units
• Extensive power wiring for HVAC systems, including some control wiring
• Food-grade installation methods were required in growing and packing rooms
• Installation of remote load bank connection box for qualifying as a Class A hydro customer
