Radiant Care Pleasant Manor

The expansion of Pleasant Manor Retirement in Virgil, Ontario, involves a significant development project to construct a new 160-bed long-term care home. This project was officially approved by the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care, which awarded Pleasant Manor an additional 38-bed license to support the redevelopment. This addition brings the total to 160 beds for the facility next to the existing building​.
The new three-storey building includes multiple commercial kitchens and will involve the installation of more than 1,600 light fixtures. Kraun completed the electrical installation in all amenities, including a chapel, hair salon, tea room and activity room.
Installation included:
- Lots of required coordination with the existing building as it remains open during construction
- 600KW 347/600V 3 Phase Diesel Generator installation and connection
- Emergency lighting, elevators, and CCTV
- Fire alarm installation
- Parking lot lighting, landscape lighting, and lighting controls
